Organizing institution: The Fralin Museum of Art at the University of Virginia
An exhibition of paintings, sculpture, drawings, prints, books, and decorative arts from the University of Virginia's Bayly Art Museum and the Alderman Library Special Collections. This exhibition reflected the artistic ideas and styles that flourished during the time of Thomas Jefferson roughly between 1750 and 1850. This exhibition was to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Jefferson's birth.
